British Council Plans to Improve the Reach of its English Teaching Work

The British Council has plans to improve the reach of its English Teaching Work in both India and Sri Lanka with in next five years. The Teachning Centres of British Council also plans to increase the number of admissions from 370,000 to one million.

The video below shows the first teaching centre inaugurated in Chennai to meet the huge demand from Chennai public for programmes and centres. The centre employs local teachers and offer courses to needy at a nominal hourly fee.
